OCT 17: PROJECT PLAYHOUSE AUCTION
(LOS ANGELES, CA) The 2004 Project Playhouse Auction will be held on October 17, 2004 at the House of Blues - Sunset Strip! Eight mini-playhouses (scaled down versions measuring approximately 8'x10'x10') will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, and there will be a drawing for two Opportunity Houses! The winner will be announced during the evening and need not be present. The playhouse auction is absolute to the highest bidder — no minimum, no reserve. Additionally, a Silent Auction featuring items ranging from SubZero wine cellar and weekend get-a-ways will be conducted.
This event will feature hors d’oeuvres and beverages at a hosted bar. Don’t forget the entertainment! Featured musical entertainment: Patrice Zappa, famous Frank's sis; top comic DAMON WILLIAMS will be the MC. Don’t expect less than a magnificent musical performance at this premier location.
Doors open at 6:00 at House of Blues Sunset Strip, 8430 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90069. Tickets for this Auction Party fundraiser are $75 each. Guests can buy tix at the door; includes 2 drinks. All ages welcome. 6--10pm. Attire: club casual, jeans on up.
