FEB.12: BENEFIT SHOPPING DAY AT DONALD J. PLINER STORE, BEVERLY HILLS
Remember this 1-2 combination: the 12th at 12. The Donald J. Pliner store is the place to be from 12pm-5pm this Saturday where you can shop, mingle and listen to good music, and get a chance to do good to boot. Or shoe. Footwear designer Donald J. Pliner will be at his Beverly Hills boutique for this event, where funds raised will benefit the Grammy Foundation's music programs for schools. Customers who make a purchase during the event can enter a raffle (grand prize: tix to the 2005 Grammy Awards the following night). A portion of the day's proceeds will be donated to the Grammy Foundation, as well as SPCA LA. Entertainment includes a performance by local young musicians who benefit from the program, and Pliner will be sporting pieces from his men's line. (Event found at LA.com).
